The Shmaya Association, established in 1981
(in memory of the late Rabbi Shmaya Wizner)
is a national organization that provides a professional and comprehensive response to people with disabilities, families at risk and the entire community. It leads a wide-ranging social-rehabilitative activity.

Over the years, Shmaya has grown from a small group for children with hearing impairments to a wide network of services nationwide, In all areas of activity, Shmaya leads with professionalism, innovation, personal attention and deep respect for the individual and his family - out of a commitment to creating a tailored and high-quality response for every person, at every stage of life.
