Shmaya Association inaugurated a new early-intervention communication center for children with autism in Tzur Yitzhak, in partnership with the South Sharon Regional Council and the Ministry of Welfare. The center provides professional, tailored educational and therapeutic care from a young age.
At the ceremony, Shmaya’s leadership dedicated the center to the memory of CEO Rabbi Levi ז״ל, emphasizing his vision of meaningful lives for children and families and Shmaya’s commitment to high-quality, continuous support. Speakers, including Welfare Minister Yaakov Margi and Council Head Osheret Gani-Gonen, stressed long-term planning, strong partnerships, and appreciation for the dedicated professional teams.
The new center joins Shmaya’s national network of specialized rehabilitation programs and strengthens cooperation with public authorities for the benefit of children and their families.
Visit by the Disabilities Administration to Shmaya’s Rehabilitation Residences
During the month promoting equality and accessibility for people with disabilities, Shmaya hosted the senior management of the Ministry of Welfare’s Disabilities Administration at its rehabilitation centers in Bnei Brak, together with representatives of the city’s welfare department.
The visitors praised the centers’ professional, calm, and people-centered approach, emphasizing care that focuses on the individual rather than the disability. They noted the dedicated, experienced staff, the strong sense of mission, and the high professional standards led by the center’s management.
