A Pubic day was held in our audio labs recently. Participating were the Executive Director, Rabbi Simon Levy, Dr. Yisgav Shapiro, Assistant Head of the Ear, Nose and Throat Department of Tel Hashomer Hospital. Also participating were Mr. Pinchas Rosenberg, Speech and Language Therapist, and the Director of Shmaya’s Audiology Lab, Mrs. Bochnik.
Throughout the day, many issues were discussed including dealing with hearing impairment in both adults and children. Rabbi Roth of Shmaya, also took questions on the halachic issues in hearing aid use.
